Thanks for posting the video! It was great.Every time I see Neil, the last time being the 2000 CSNY tour, he just tears the place up. Truly a giant among rockers.
Hey, no problem at all... That's 'bout the only thing I do here anymore--just post music videos. It seems to me that anything and everything can be said with a song. Besides, it's especially convenient for the incapacitated. I'm still pickin' up bits of the broken drinking glass off the floor from a week ago... Anyway, Neil just turned 61 this past November. It's just proof that you can't refuse to get old, but you can refuse to "grow up." I love those geezers...
Neil and the likes from that generation should really be in charge of everything right now. It's what was logically expected--but what happened? Why is everything still so fucked up?
I guess I am askin' a little too much in expecting to witness the second-coming of Jesus in the way that I do--with Him riding the "Cinnamon Girl" moped, alongside His trusty partner Judas Iscariot, just like Ponch & John, merging onto the freeway with the sound of the "CHiPs" theme song blasting out of the trumpets of 10,000 angels!! Sin Patrol... *sigh* I just know He would spike His coffee at the donut shoppe when nobody is lookin' at the beginning of His shift... and just imagine what would happen at the taco stand! Oh, and then there's that scene at the fuckin' disco!!
All those fuckers at YouTube need to get off their lazy asses! They don't even have the clip of SNL "Church Lady" smackin' the drums!!
"Don't Forget, She's Quite Deaf."
Hell yeah, she can hear it!
Machinegun Granny
I just had to... It's hard to believe that this song is over a quarter-century old already. The sound quality is pretty bad, but it's the best I've heard on the 'net so far. Too bad.... Anyway, some of the lyrics are irrelevant, of course, but not many. I listened to this a lot when I bailed out of Christianity, and then religion altogether. Yeah, where do I go from here? Hit the ground runnin'? That's exactly what I did. Nothin' stays the same--you get nothin' for nothin'... Btw, check Dave out there at 1:20. Georgia Public Television should be ashamed! Now, where's that video? I know somebody has it...

In Search Of More Light...
We used to meet Jesus so bright and early in the morning. Red carpeted aisles and red carpeted halls everywhere, except the right downward staircase that the Mason Deacon guarded. It was forever bidden. I think it had something to do with Masonic ceremonies. And so, we wallked on down the red, carpeted aisle on the left side, and I mean blood red, Shit, I just realized that it was the left hand path! When we got to the bottom of the top of the red slide, us kids saw the blue hippie eyes in the portrait of Jesus at the bottom of the stairwell on the left-hand path. Hallelujah!!
Yeah, we checked in down blood red aisles
Just to get to the bottom on the left side
And to see Jesus' bloodshot blue eyes
When we hit the bottom of the stairs
The long-haired hippie in the painting
That they always left waiting...
When we got to the bottom
