"Allah hu akbar" is Arabic for "God is good." This phrase seems to be a favorite one of Muslims.

Does it occur to anyone...(but me).....that this ancient practise can be applied to Chrisitian's and Jews.....& that perhaps this person 'caught'...could just as easily be a representative of anyone of those religious groups...

(I've recently discovered that there are 25, 000 estimated Jews in Iran......and I'm guessing there are a few hundred thousand christians in places like Iraq.)
