I could not believe this interview as it was so snide and condescending, even for a fundy! What do you guys think?Crazy Woman Speaks!Some backstory before you read the article:JoAnna expressed outright disgust for the Immunity Idol, claiming it was a false god and refused to touch it. She even went as far as to say that it was raining on their camp the next day because they had the Immunity Idol in their possession. (Yeah, it rains in a rain forest because God is exacting bloody retribution over a stage prop.)Christy, who is deaf, cannot read lips at night as it is too dark, so she often misses out on the nightly conversations and asks other people to fill her in the next day. One such night was when JoAnna was on her high horse preaching of the evils of the Immunity Idol (she even went as far as to say that she would talk about it all night regardless of whether or not the rest of the tribe wanted to sleep). Christy's reaction to this incident in her next-day recap was simply "Well that's stupid!" Unfortunately, JoAnna heard her and proceeded to ream her out for it (mind you, JoAnna is a school counselor, you'd think she would have more training than that), and would not stop even after Christy apologized and tried to drop it. JoAnna went as far as to stick her hand in Christy's face, makingher unable to read JoAnna's lips.One last tidbit that wasn't brought up in this interview: The next time their tribe went to Tribal Council, JoAnna did indeed cast a vote for Christy, however, she spelled it "Krystie." Presumably because sheeither didn't want to associate Christy with Christ or she didn't want to vote Christ out.And yet despite all this, I was shocked at the psychosis displayed in this interview.
