I have read the "End of Faith" by Sam and found it very compelling. Sam puts forth a logical and cohesive argument and is able to articulate it well. He also has a substantial enough of a background that there is some reason to think that people will take him seriously and at least listen to the argument.If you haven't seen the symposium that Sam, Richard Dawkins, and many other scientist recently you can find the video's here and watch.
