Hello MrHigh...
I don't really know you - the orginal member thing......................except for reading a few of your old posts. ...from those I get the idea that you're a cool guy...so okay... good to have some company..some new ideas...input...playing around etc....*wahteva*..............but don't pick on my spelling/gramma or I'll get huffy..sooky
I didn't think anyone needs to be committed to a chatroom.....? Online is online....It ironic in such a free space..people just 'have to' make rules in their little plots of it.? Off topic..but there you go..I'm liable to do that? *shrugs*.....come as you are..go as you please..!
What ups with me....in context with this chatroom...thanks to waff.....I've become more intolerant of christianity....christians. Ekkk..! .............am I 'allowed' to say that...? Of course I am!!
Real life...in the last year..I'm settling in more to being here....we moved interstate a few years ago..so its more or less good to be on my feet in that regard. I still miss my home base/ state thou'.hence the online habit.....but hell! the money here is so much better! II also love to travel...I'm very envious of you - planned trip to such an exotic destination. My partner has lived in Africa for a few years..but I've not been myself. I was born in Europe thou'....speak Polish etc...so living in Australia has been an experience in itself...especially adding that crap with SDAist on top.
Yep...ditto..I'm also in a stable relationship...but I don't let that stop me being myself or growing... Yep..I'm suitably cynical...so don't pay any mind to my forth rightfulness or disrespect for most institutions....I'm an Australian...an immigrate with heaps of hutzpa...(I've worked in feminists organisations so that explains it..)....?

In exchange for obedience, Christianity promises salvation in an afterlife; but in order to elicit obedience through this promise, Christianity must convince people that they need salvation, that there is something to be saved from. Christianity has nothing to offer a happy person living in a natural, intelligible universe. If Christianity is to gain a motivational foothold, it must declare war on earthly pleasure and happiness, and this, historically, has been its precise course of action. In the eyes of Christianity, woman(man) is sinful and helpless in the face of God, and is potential fuel for the flames of hell. Just as Christianity must destroy reason before it can introduce faith, so it must destroy happiness before it can introduce salvation.
