To admin~

Look, I don't mind nudity. I'm not a prude and I can crack up at naked pictures of fat women or old dudes with hard-ons just as much as anyone. But my computer is in the middle of the living room and I have a 10 year old looking over my shoulder. This site is usually "safe" and I can come here without any problems. But today the "Today" thread has about 3-5 pics that contain nudity.
Again, I have no problem with that. If there's a thread entitled "Old Gross Guys with Big Stiffies" I won't click on it with my daughter present. But I object to these things just popping up in the Today thread, where I have no ability to control them.
Again, this (I think) is an admin problem, not necessarily a member problem or something that needs to be censored. But we've all had this talk before (I think it was last year) and didn't seem to come to a consensus about it.
So--Can I count on this site being safe or not? I just need to know so I know when I can come here and when I can't.

I am not a registered member of this forum yet but the admin has no control over what is displayed on the today function, I have no control on my today page as owner on my forum.

It might be an idea to only view the today page when your daughter is not looking over your sholder or....use your browser block pictures when you view the page, I use the opera browser and it has the option of displaying pictures or not with one click of the mouse, none of this > tools > options > etc....like in IE

Hope that helps.

With other forum programs apart from Aimoo that function comes with the package. I use it myself to save time.

Karrier is from Aimoo Help

I was over there today asking for 'help'  (sarcasm) regarding another matter - the profile -   visibility - IP numbers, lack of privacy etc.

She is one of the moderators there but cannot do much about the Aimoo programming - that is up to the Administrators of Aimoo. *cough*

I have run out of patience with Aimoo

In exchange for obedience, Christianity promises salvation in an afterlife; but in order to elicit obedience through this promise, Christianity must convince people that they need salvation, that there is something to be saved from. Christianity has nothing to offer a happy person living in a natural, intelligible universe. If Christianity is to gain a motivational foothold, it must declare war on earthly pleasure and happiness, and this, historically, has been its precise course of action. In the eyes of Christianity, woman(man) is sinful and helpless in the face of God, and is potential fuel for the flames of hell. Just as Christianity must destroy reason before it can introduce faith, so it must destroy happiness before it can introduce salvation.
