Hey all. Thought I'd drop into my old haunt and say 'hi' and 'happy holidays' to everyone.
I am currently attending college (rhetoric major) and am almost through the push for finals so I won't be around much but I miss this place a lot sometimes. I have been surfing the old threads. WOW-I know I've come a long way since then...its amazing. I still have very warm feelings for WAFF and for all my old friends here. ((((hugs to all))))

bumping this up...
I think we have christian fairies here who like to jamb up the pages.

Silly little critters.

yeah....so ..great to get short holiday note! All the best to everyone. I had a great holiday - free time off work to do other stuff.

Yeah....this place online has been good fun - lots of nice people.

--------------------------------------------------------------
In exchange for obedience, Christianity promises salvation in an afterlife; but in order to elicit obedience through this promise, Christianity must convince people that they need salvation, that there is something to be saved from. Christianity has nothing to offer a happy person living in a natural, intelligible universe. If Christianity is to gain a motivational foothold, it must declare war on earthly pleasure and happiness, and this, historically, has been its precise course of action. In the eyes of Christianity, woman(man) is sinful and helpless in the face of God, and is potential fuel for the flames of hell. Just as Christianity must destroy reason before it can introduce faith, so it must destroy happiness before it can introduce salvation.

HI!  Glad to hear you are still around.  Just popping in myself for a "tune up".

Hope everyone had a nice holiday season.

Hi all!  I'm OK too.  The electricity was intermittent at times the morning of 27th January, and went off for good right at noon local (central) time.  (Ice storms have a way!)  It wasn't restored until 6.25 peeyem 8 days later, on 4th February.  I had to spend most of those days in a local shelter set up by the Red Cross in the gym/fellowship hall of a local church to have a warm place to sleep.

And it took the internet provider MUCH longer to get things sorted; it wasn't repaired and debugged until the 15th!
