"....Do you have an opinion? A mind of your own? I thought you were special I thought you should know But I've run out of patience I've run out of comments I'm tired of the violence I couldn't care less "
Music is a great antedote. I love it!.......I climbed into music - it cloaks me....keeps me company, thrills, entertains, inspires and comforts. Its also great to share.
Fuck xian music! (I have a distinct adversion to all xian music, always did and always will)

In exchange for obedience, Christianity promises salvation in an afterlife; but in order to elicit obedience through this promise, Christianity must convince people that they need salvation, that there is something to be saved from. Christianity has nothing to offer a happy person living in a natural, intelligible universe. If Christianity is to gain a motivational foothold, it must declare war on earthly pleasure and happiness, and this, historically, has been its precise course of action. In the eyes of Christianity, woman(man) is sinful and helpless in the face of God, and is potential fuel for the flames of hell. Just as Christianity must destroy reason before it can introduce faith, so it must destroy happiness before it can introduce salvation.

Why does the term "Oval Office" seem pornographic to me just now?
Heh, I hadn't thought of that before. The Yoni Office.
Ooops, thread derailment. Let me get things back on track.
My yoni is better than Jesus ever was. I'd never take him back.

Actually, I take the "Yoni Office" back. The yoni should be considered sacred. What with the state of American politics, and the condition of the presidency (don't get me ranting on that topic, now...) , I think it should be called the Offal Office.

Except for Simon Webbe (ex Blue singer) and our old friend, Alice Cooper. They're both christians and good entertainment. I don't reckon on Corinne Bailey Rae who is actually a Brethren fundy. God, she's awful and really boring as well as pretentious and hypocritical in her attitude towards the Sugababes and the Pussycat Dolls. Luckily I've seen them all live on stage except for CBR.
Watching the Brit Awards at the moment and I've been voting by text on my mobile phone for the various categories. It's great fun voting against CBR as well as for my favourite acts though it's quite difficult choosing as there are two or three in each category who are equally good. The Brits are much more fun to watch than the Grammys which I saw a repeat of last night on television. It suddenly occurred to me this morning that I had actually spoken to a former Grammy award winner in London late last year. British of course but then it's not easy for a British singer or band to win a Grammy award. There isn't a special category at the Grammys for international artists as there is at the Brits where every other award category is international (the rest for homegrown talent) and it's nearly always an American act who wins it and occasionally a Canadian or Irish - as in Republic of Ireland not Northern Ireland which belongs to the UK.

Maybe I should have been more precise.....I meant christian music - not christian's who are musicians or singers, yes some a very good.
I didn't bother watching the Grammies this year...and sadly we didn't get the British version on our screen, unless I totally missed it. I love English music but I must admit I'm more fond on the oldies, like the Clash, Depeche Mode, Annie Lenox, Allison Moyer, umm....heaps and heaps...I love what you call the British beat.
wow...fancy getting to rub shoulders.
(I love one of our young up and coming local bands ...."Wolfmother")
