Nah, I just like oddball, low-budget, independent films... "American Movie" is one of my favorites. Goes great with a case of Old Milwaukee! I just happened to be drinking one the day I turned the TV on and found this movie for the first time. Coincidence? Nah, no way... "American Movie" Trailer Mike Schank Clips from "American Movie" Failure is NOT an Option! The Flyers Mistake Ronald McGoddamned Donald & Pepsi Feel the Wrath of Mark Borchardt, and Rightly So!! R.I.P, Uncle Bill... I can't imagine finding such an obscure movie as "American Movie" for $9.99 at Target, but somebody did! I'm gonna have to check that out... Judas Priest--"You've Got Another Thing Coming" Even if you can't tolerate the music, listen to what Rob Halford says at the end. Something about Christians? I get the most laughs from the filmmaker's friend, the ex-drunk who plays Slayer riffs onthe acoustic guitar. Yeah, it's awesomer than hell, ain't it!? It's my understanding that all of the acoustic guitar on "American Movie" is played by the filmmaker's trusty sidekick, assistant, and old drinkin' & druggin' buddy, Mike Schank. Of course, he's totally burnt out, but he plays guitar pretty good, don't he? Don't quote me, but from what I remember from watchin' the full length movie, Mike plays "Stairway to Heaven" in there somewhere, but I'm not sure, because I was really drunk at the time... For some reason, Uncle Bill reminds me of Dime, and Dime reminds me a little of myself... Yeah, I'm drunker than a wombat on a unicycle... Hollow There's more to "Uncle Bill" than most people will ever realize. He was a hard-core Atheist all the way to the very end...
