I take unusually long showers... I sometimes sleep on hard floors, "just for the hell of it," in preparation for "hard times."
Hahhhh!! What a fun topic!
Btw, the French movie "Le, Jour se leve," a.k.a. "Daybreak," from 1939, starring Jean Gabin & Jacqueline Laurent is an old movie definitely worth seeing. I saw it for the first time a few months ago on IFC and just couldn't believe that was done almost 70 years ago, before WW2!!

Like Supertzar I sometimes sleep on hard wooden floors (I enjoy it better than a bed at times).
Like Snakechic I am a Godzilla fan. I have been since I saw my first Godzilla movie in 1956 (but I think it had first come out in 1954). I am so much of a fan that I had noticed through the years that Godzilla movies were made where he had no ears, but in "Godzilla 1985" onward he had his ears back. I have several of his movies and had raised my daughter to carry on the "Godzilla fan club" Hehehehehehe
I love Dean Koontz, Stephen King and James Herbert books. For those who do not know, James Herbert is the "Stephen King" of England. Man I love his books.

I hate Orange Marmalade, but I can't get enough of Lime Marmalade.
At least once a day I need to put on very loud music through headphones and dance like a lunatic.
I have a special cupboard that I keep full of food and water so that, should there ever be any kind of natural disaster / war / chemical attack, I can survive in my house for weeks if I have to.

Unfortunately, I've never even heard of Lime Marmalade, but on the other hand, Smucker's seedless blackberry preserves are good on almost everything, including things you can't actually eat.
Keeping extra food and water is very wise, Dot. You should probably double or triple what you've already got, and so should I. Canned food, bottled water, petrol, electric generators, and even cash won't go very far in a real crisis, but seeds, gardening tools, access to water, extra clothes, and guns and bullets will.

In the back of my closet is the Klingon costume I wore back in my Trekkie days. With the headpiece, dagger and everything. (shrug) I was a total nerd.

Ohhhh, noo......... I wouldn't have told that, even if it was true!!
Nah, I'm just kiddin'!! Trekkies are the coolest people--kinda like hikers. In fact, I often feel like dressin' up as a (my mind just went totally blank).
...A fuckin' Romulan! That's it!! Hahhhhhhh...
ST:TNG is definitely in my list of top 10 shows of all time. They can call me a "nerd" all they want to--I don't care!

Reply to Lybra96 and Supertzar:
I went to a lot of Doctor Who conventions with my wife and her brothers. Saw a lot of Trekkies in the same conventions, matter of fact they co-mingled both conventions so to speak. I loved seeing the Dalek's rolling around saying "EXTERMINATE...EXTERMINATE..." Had a ball seeing that!!!
We had a special many years ago in our store selling china with Star Trek china. Had some actors dressed up in Klingon attire Hehehehehehe I was watching them more than caring for the customers Hehehehehehe

" "Godzilla' - Blue Oyster Cult"
---------------------------------------------
Thanks for putting that in. I enjoyed that soooooooo much that I called my daughter in before she went to school this morning. She Loved it saying "Coooooool" I do recognize a lot of the films that was in that video. Watched them all through the years. got it bad, don't I? Hehehehehehe Now here's where my wife says I am wierd, Godzilla is my buddy and pal Hehehehehe. I like saying that to her to keep up my "image" of being wierd Hehehehe
You know I have not heard of the Blue Oyster Cult in many years. I do have one of their records but I have not gotten a CD for that particular record as of yet.
