I know, *insert outraged face*, apparantly the school thought this was a Chat board, and seeing as I logged on in school (though after hours) it got banned. Now when you log on they send you to Disney, which is wonderful fun, but not where I want to be. At the mo am using computer at home, with dad looking over my sholder, not fun.So, I'll be away even more than first thought, seeing as now I have to come when parents are out too. Not fun, not fun, wish I could be honest with them! argh.Haven't tried to get in via e-mail link yet, there is always a back door with school.

The Chinese found a way around their government's block of Google, so there's a way around this.  I believe the Chinese solution had to do with frames.  I'll do some hunting before work tomorrow and see if I can come up with anything.

Thankyou, but problem now solved, see I'm on-line.*happy smiley face*

Apparantly the head of computing was meant to come and see me about the block, as it was only me who was using the site.  But he never came, so when I went to see the IT technician, who does the blocking and asked why the site had been blocked, he was surprised I didn't know.  THere then followed an interesting conversation about WHY I use the boards, and I said, honestly, "to discuss religion", elaborating that as I'm the only one in RS class, and there is a discursive element to the course, I need to discuss it with someone.  So not wanting to jeopardise my education, they have unbanned walkaway.

Great huh?!

Ah, the old "I need this for school" argument.  Glad to hear that it worked & you're back.

I think I'll keep looking for an answer, though, as this problem may come up again.

Morality should be based on respect for human life instead of fear of supernatural damnation.

Its a great argument, especially in a school obsessed with grades.
