I said multiple, not simultaneous. If I'm having an orgasm that last half and hour non-stop, it's bound to be simultaneous with hers somewhere along the way. I don't know if simultaneous brush-offs are worse than multiple "we have to process the emotional importance of this and what it signifies for the whole of existence" thing -- that tends to last even longer than the orgasms do.
Smudit -- it's not that I don't understand heterosexuality in an academic Discovery Channel way (did you mean the channel or the song )
But the thing that is interesting to me is that heterosexuality is inaccessible to me on an instinctual level -- I don't get it on a gut level. Realizing that I lack a fundamental understanding of what makes them tick makes it easier for me to understand why my sexual orientaion can seem so "unnatural" to some hetero people. It makes me feel less like a freak of nature to realize that accusations of unnaturalness are just someone's perspective, not objective reality.
So sure, I can recite Freud or biology or the-penis-fits-in-the-vagina theory just fine -- but it's still a foreign concept.
And Mr. H is right. Sexual orientation isn't all about genitals. It's the whole picture and how you connect with another person in every way. I take it on faith that het girls can connect with boys sexually, emotionally, spiritually and so on, but I can't really grasp what that connection is about or what it is like.

Well-I connect with the opposite sex sexually, spiritually, emotionally and romantically, yet I only connect sexually with the same sex, yet I would still consider my sexual orientation to be bisexual. Although, most bisexuals refer to me as "the essentially heterosexual kinky guy who enjoys sex with other guys sometimes". Everyone's different......
