Yep........sad but true. Now that I've got broadband...(the slow Australia number).I'm smokekin'......I'm even more dangerous. Ever since my po' old motherinlaw died a couple of weeks ago...I've been hitting the internet pretty damn hard. I've had 15 or so log-ins in one day. I'm getting pretty tired looking at the computer screen and my partner is starting to crack jokes at me.I'm afraid I'm loosing the battle to stay 'logical'.....I've been known to crack under the pressure. This is seriously a condition I knew of but didn't ever think it would ever happen to me.Its so hard to admit...but I'm so glad that i've finally been able to be honest with myself...and my higher power."Sits down...shaky...coffee in hand""chair shifts and scrapes the lino floor'..."thinks this community centre need an face lift"
Oh snakey - me too! I can't stop myself. Not only is my boyfriend commenting on it all the time but I am one grouchy individual when I've just spent all day, all evening and then all morning on the internet. I'm not wearing any make up today because I was checking all my sites this morning and I ran out of time to get ready. And now some friends have got me into Bebo.com aaaarghhh! Also - I quit my job!!!!Remember I said I was unhappy about it? Well I finally plucked up the courage to leave. But I have no other job. So that's even MORE internet surfing because (a) I need to find a job and (b) I don't care if they catch me skiving! I really want to stop it though. I was thinking some strict rules for myself. No forums, wikis or bebo except for between the hours of 9 and 11 at night? That way I would really look forward to it. Don't like rules though! Dot xxx

In exchange for obedience, Christianity promises salvation in an afterlife; but in order to elicit obedience through this promise, Christianity must convince people that they need salvation, that there is something to be saved from. Christianity has nothing to offer a happy person living in a natural, intelligible universe. If Christianity is to gain a motivational foothold, it must declare war on earthly pleasure and happiness, and this, historically, has been its precise course of action. In the eyes of Christianity, woman(man) is sinful and helpless in the face of God, and is potential fuel for the flames of hell. Just as Christianity must destroy reason before it can introduce faith, so it must destroy happiness before it can introduce salvation.

Ha ha ha! I read all three of them as well - just to make sure they were all the same! Bebo is a way of keeping in touch with people - you have a profile page and a blog - you can post photos and do quizzes and polls and people can add comments to your profile. You add "friends" to your friends list and bebo tells you if there have been any changes. Oops got a meeting - forgot! Being shouted at!

A little late but one of my favorite Irish jokes- Q: Why do Leprechauns have such a hard time getting dates? A: Chick don't understand that that part's SUPPOSED to be green!
