Hey....did you ever hear Ozzy doing a cover of the Bee Gee's Stayin Alive? I don't know if it was ever released, but its pretty easy to find on a p2p network.
Hiya, Ted!  Sorry, I'm gettin' behind here.  No, never heard Oz doin' "Stayin' Alive."  Would like to, though!  I used to play a little of that on my electric guitar.  Figured some of it out--the main riff, at least.  It was passable, but I don't remember it now.  Maybe I'll work on it later...  I also like "Night Fever."  Disco & The Devil.  Great combination...guess that's why I like the "Never Say Die" album so much.  It's got that sound to it.  p2p?  What's that?  All this reminds me of Dread Zeppelin.  Funny stuff!  And, Haycee/Deecee, too.  Haha!  There's a bluegrass band that does Metallica songs.  I saw their cd at Wally World.  I think they are called "Iron Horse" or something.  I would like to hear a bluegrass band do Slayer's "Altar of Sacrifce."  Hehe!

Achilles Last Stand by Zeppelin....thats an interesting choice...I would have never imagined what Ozzy would sound like singing it...One Priest song I'd love to hear Ozzy sing would be Beyond the Realms of Death..

Actually, I don't think Ozzy could do "Achilles" very well.  Scratch that one.  I just like the song...  I used to have an old recording of a radio show called "Metal Shop" from the mid-'80's.  They interviewed Oz and asked him what his favorite song was.  He said, "Whole Lotta Love."  Don't know if that's still his favorite song, but I think he could do a pretty good job of it.  I'd like to hear him give it a shot, even if it doesn't turn out so great.   "Beyond the Realms of Death?"  I thought I knew Priest, but I don't recall that one.  Which album is it on?

Btw Supertzar...what kind of porn are you into?

Funny you should mention it.  I woke up yesterday, about mid-mornin'...the sunlight was shining bright through the windows...I was thinking about going back to sleep for 2-3 more hours, but then thought "Nah, there's a whole world of internet porn waiting for me to explore...time's a wastin'!"  Turned 'puter on...but before I got started I thought, "I wonder if anybody found Corpsewood?"  So I came here and saw your message.  Anyway, I never did get around to watchin' porn, or replyin' to your message yesterday.  Just got good 'n' drunk and listened to electronic, digitalized version of "Stairway to Heaven" all day...about 1,000 times I think.  I have so many empty beer cans laying around here.  I think I'm gonna sell out and start constructing a life-sized replica of Corpsewood---made entirely out of beer cans!

As for porn, I like the lesbians with the 750 rpm fuck machines.  And "Nuns"...I think they are @ pussy.org.  I think that's the site where everything is categorized...real easy to find stuff.  As far as the pseudo-Simpsons engaged in incestuous sex acts...that's just plain sick.  I don't even want to know the person that created that.  I stumbled onto it somewhere, somehow.  The funniest thing I've seen though is the video clip of that midget in a crib.  He's wearing a bonnet...AND he's got a beard!  It's fake...the beard, I mean.  Seems he woke up from afternoon nap hungry, and needed breast feeding. Haha!  Evidently, "baby" woke up with a boner.  The babysitter helped him with that too...or maybe that was supposed to be his mother.  She looked to be about 20.  I won't tell you what "baby's" first words were...

Anyway, I think the aliens are watching this stuff too.  They came here looking for new technology they can use, but found none whatsoever.  They decided to put us all out of our misery for being so stupid, but realized that our stupidity, which they had never before encountered anywhere else in the universe, really makes us all quite entertaining...a novelty for them.

Full moon is on the rise

Cool fog falls

Over ivy-covered walls

Word to the wise...

I'm tired of God's lies!

"Heaven is on the way,"

They always say

You don't have to wait...

Just meditate, consecrate...pontificate

Sanctify!

And don't ask why...

God gave me eternal life

And a long, sharp knife!

Stabbing time is drawing near

He who hath an ear...

Cut it off...bleed!

Blood is all that God needs!

Lost in this labyrinth...

I've seen God here before

Walking hand-in-hand

With Revelation Whore!

Toward the altar, down red carpet aisles

I've walked this labyrinth, 10,000 miles!

Salvation, it's not far...

I found mine in a clay jar

There...among the reeds, like Moses

I gave him a dozen black roses

666 paces that way...and left at every turn

Under the Tree of Knowledge

That's where you learn...

Its on the album Stained Class, from like, 1978.  Its nothing at all like 80s Priest...which I don't care too much for.  To my ears....Stained Class is every bit as "metal" anything Sabbath came out with.  and IMO, Stained Class helped build the bridge between Sabbath of the 70s and alot of the heavier bands of the 80s.  Highly influential album, and really kickass, too.  It was ahead of its time...its hard for me to believe that Stained Class came out of the 70s!!

The girls riding the machines....like, the Sybian?  I know what you're talking about...that stuff is pretty cool.  Nuns?  I've never had a thing for uniformed girls in general....the schoolgirl outfits never did it for me, either.  I like seeing two girls with one guy...and seeing lots of a2m action, and stuff like that.  Filthy cock-loving whores who love cum and love being fucked by big cocks...cream pies, gaping holes, cum-swapping, you name it.  The teen girls who look like they're truly enjoying themselves...truly loving the cock...they get a plus from me.  Do you know where any of these girls are in real life?  Wait...I know....I live in the wrong part of the country...plus, I'm too poor, and not good looking enough...I'm not famous, either...I should head out to Van Nuys, CA with my camcorder...rent a flat...and point all the aspiring-model aspiring-actress Eastern European girls my way.  I would like to be the MILF Hunter, too...get a bunch of that seasoned, cock-loving pussy...I like how alot of the older women talk when they're being fucked...

Man, Ted, thanks for pointing me to "Beyond The Realms Of Death."  I was at Wal*Mart on 12-24-05 and saw the song listed on Priest's new  "Rising In The East" DVD.  I been a bad, bad boy in '05 and knew Santa wouldn't bring me nothin', so I bought it for myself for $15.88.  I got it home and, Wow!  I love how that song alternates between the sad, soft, delicate ballad, and then launches into raging, grindin', ball-bustin', unleashed fury of hell!  I've never seen Priest live, but I think they are STILL , after 30+ years, very close to the top of their form on this DVD.  They do some older stuff, but the sound has the brutal punch and clarity of their latter albums.  The light show for BTROD is particularly spectacular.  Lots of close-ups of guitar work by Downing and Tipton is just icing on the cake for me and other aspiring guitarists.  Halford has perhaps lost just a little, but nobody I've ever heard has been able to match his vocal range, then OR now.  Philip Anselmo has come closest, but he's quite a bit younger, and never quite got there...  There should be some punctuation in English beyond multiple exclamation marks, reserved only for Mr. Halford, to express his high-flyin' screams that end in fading echo--absolutely brilliant work on the part of the recording engineers/producer.  I was surprised to find this effect used way back on BTROD, and you are right, Ted, it was recorded in 1978.  I verified the date 'cause I went back on the 26th and bought the "Metal Works" 2-cd set.  I wanted to compare the current, live version of BTROD with the original recording.  Glad I did, 'cause I also discovered "Dissident Aggressor."  It's on my copy of Slayer's South Of Heaven.  Never knew Priest did it originally, until now.  Thanks again, Ted!  Lastly, about the lyrics for BTROD:  I just wanna say that every line is very relevant to my life, the whole Walking Away experience, and where I'm at now--actually where I've been for a long time.  Anyway, this song goes very well with me, 1.75L J&B, and my 30-year-old vinyl LA-Z-BOY recliner.  I've been listenin' to it non-stop for about 6 hours now...

Whooaaa there, Ted...  Hahahaha!  Wasn't exactly thinking of the Sybian--more like the 6' tall metal robot with rotating, reciprocating dildo hands.  I'm sure some pathetic, deranged M.E. from Georgia Tech had something to do with its making.  I know it exists, 'cause I've seen it on the 'net.  We could market them.  Sell them for about $5,000 ea.  "As Seen On The 'Net."  We could make a movie...  We can call it "Battlepuss Fuckutopia" or something...then every girl will want one...

As for "the teen girls who look like they're truly enjoying themselves..."--Yeah, I'm really tired of the ones who greet a good hard fuckin' with the same enthusiasm as having their nails done...  Guess that's what "the business" does to ya...  After awhile, it must get kinda boring, which says something about life in general.  I used to wanna be a bartender, 'til I started hangin' out in bars.  "Welcome to The Hot Spot Lounge, now drag me through your wasted lives..."  No thanks, don't need another one...Now I don't wanna be a bartender--don't hang out there anymore...  Anyway, there should be more natural emotion in porn--less "acting."  The girls that are capable of being fucked silly get a big plus from me too, Ted.  Is it just me or have you noticed that girls with dimples in their lower back always seem more enthusiastic, excited?  Anyway, my point is that those with dulled senses should  be kicked out on their naked asses... "Welcome to Earth..."

Heading out to Van Nuys or Ventura with a camcorder, Ted?  Good-looking and famous doesn't matter.  Have you got enough money to rent a house with a thick, wood double-door entrance and a swimming pool in back?  I think I have enough to rent a Porsche to park in the driveway.  I have enough to buy a nice suit and a pair of cheap sunglasses.   All this is necessary to make them think we are adult-film moguls.  We will need a catchy website name, like CumFiesta, which, unfortunately is already taken.  I will be your assistant...the doorkeeper.  I'll let her in...  Offer her a drink... Have her fill out an "application."  Take a head and shoulder photo to "put in her file."  Explain the acting business--how it's VERY competitive and you HAVE to start at the bottom.  Tell her about the backlog of promising actresses we're interviewing for a new movie.  Show her the filing cabinets...  Name some fictitious director...  Mention some 6-figure budget allocation...  Tell her we'll contact her in a few weeks if we determine that an additional interview is required...OR explain that she can expedite matters today which will automatically put her on "the short list."  Show her THAT filing cabinet...  Offer her another drink...  When we're finished, Ted, just remember to say something like, "Thank you, we have all of your information.  Don't call us, we'll call you."  That's essentially how they do it...

Hey, Ted, have you seen Max Hardcore?  Oh, to be Max Hardcore for just one day...would kill me dead...  If I could be anybody it would probably be either Max Hardcore or Tony Iommi.  Maybe being Tony Iommi in about 1974 would be better than having to choose between either of them in the present time.  Peace, out...

Yes, I've seen Max Hardcore.  He's the older fella that likes to stretch out the young pigtailed lasses' windpipes and smear their lipstick all over his cock(he always seems to smatter them with an obscene amount of lipstick before fucking their throats) and then he throws in some nice a2m action to give 'em a taste of their own doodie.  I like the MILF Hunter over any of 'em...I think its unintentionally funny...seeing that he looks alot like the current-day Sammy Hagar...and he fucks them older broads...in their late thirties and early forties...they moan and talk so nasty so you just know they're loving getting their brains fucked out...what a turn on it is, seeing that perfectly aged pussy getting a good and proper boning....and as you said...thats whats missing in so much of the porn out there today...the natural emotion.  Not with the MILF Hunter though!!!!

I'll never get enough Tony Iommi...before I got up to post this, I was in the other room, playing Wicked World and Snowblind on my blue Jackson and Crate practice amp.  You just about nailed it by choosing to be Tony in about 74....although I'd like to go back a little further, so I could experience the supernatural experience of recording Master of Reality and Vol. 4 with the rest of the Sab Four.  What in the hell was it that they were putting in the water in Birmingham back in the late 60s?  Whatever the fuck it was, it kicked the fucking brains out of the world of rock music...and things have never been the same since.

Ok...now give me some more tips...for starting out my own amateur porn video production business...for a single guy who lives in the Midwest.  What kind of startup costs am I looking at?  My cock is 7 1/2 inches w/ a nice diameter...would that qualify me to be an actor in my movies?  What kind of girls should I look for?  How should I proposition/approach them about being in my movies?  Hell, answer however you want...just be sure you put in a bunch of shit about drugs, drunkenness, Black Sabbath, and filthy fucking.  HAIL SATANAS!!!

ted5870,

I'll get back to ya in a couple, when I'm off & drunk, okay?  I was so distraught over the death of olde-metal and got so disgusted with nu-metal that I went out and bought a Floyd Rose-equipped Epi Goth Explorer about 16 months ago.  I have a Crate too (GTX 212), and a Roland Cube-30 along with some MXR pedals and other shit.  There's no end to the quest for tone, it's like a fuckin' disease.  Anyway, would love to talk guitar with ya...  Oh, yeah, and porn too...

I LOVE "Achilles Last Stand!"

This song almost by itself has made my "Latter Days" CD one of the most listened-to pieces of my collection. Jimmy Page's guitar was ON FIRE !

Ted, I'm also a big Guns'n'Roses fan. My only regret about them is that I was too young to go to any one of their concerts. And the fact that Axl's such a greedy, sexist, narcissitic dick. All those songs that other people wrote for him, all those hardworking people playing those melliferous insturments on stage with him that made him famous and he's getting all the money. Frauds like him make me wish Napster was still around. And I heard a bit of "Chinese Democracry" on Eliot in the Morning and it was awful.

Did anyone else heard about this happenstance? According to Axl, Slash came to Axl's house at 5:30 in the morning and told him he was ready to settle the feud between Axl and the rest of G&R. When Scott Weiland heard this (him and Slash are in Velvet Revolver, IMO the best band around right now), and Axel calling their base player "spineless",he lost it. Responding to Axl's comments, Weiland wrote in an open letter;

"Get in the ring. Go to the gym, motherfucker, or if you prefer, get a new wig, motherfucker. I think I'll resist the urge to 'stoop' to your level. Oh shit, here it comes, you fat, botox-faced, wig-wearin' fuck! O.K., I feel better now.

"Don't think for a second we don't know where those words came from. Your unoriginal, uncreative little mind ? the same mind that had to rely on its bandmates to write melodies and lyrics. Who's the fraud now, bitch?

"Damn, I couldn't imagine people writing for me. How many albums have you put out, man, and how long did it take the current configuration of this so-called 'band' to make this album? How long? And without the only guys that validated the name.

"How dare you! Shame on you! How dare you call our bass player 'spineless?' We toured our album over a year and a half. How many shows have you played over the last ten years? Oh, that's right ? you bailed out on your long-awaited comeback tour, leaving your remaining fans feeling, shall we say, a trifle miffed?! I won't even list what I've accomplished because I don't need to. What we're talking about here is a frightened little man who once thought he was king, but unfortunately this king without his court is nothing but a memory of the asshole he once was." (from http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=49392 and
from VelvetRevolver.com

First, I personally want to thank Weiland for telling Axl what I ,and the rest of the world, have been wanting to say to Axel for years. And second, I want to thank him for doing it so well.

I saw Guns in Indianapolis when they were on tour with Metallica in '92.  It was so much "larger than life" to see them take the stage...more than anything I've ever experienced.  Unfortunately, Axl was a complete prick...he was insulting the audience...and the band seemed bored and indifferent, like they had better things to do than play for a packed house in Indy.  Success and fame much have went to their heads so much by then, that they probably didn't give much of a shit about anything.  We actually walked out halfway thru the set...we felt that insulted by Axl...and that much taken for granted as "fans."  On the drive back to Evansville, I through one of my Use Your Illusion cassettes(yes, cassettes, I'm that old) out of the window.  Anyway, in retrospect...I was glad to have experienced the Guns live...and immensely regret not sitting thru the second half of their set.  They may not have delivered what I expected, but the whole spectacle was completely "rock n roll" nonetheless.  I have GnR Live at the Ritz '88 on DVD...and it is absolutely phenomenal...they were at their absolute peak during that show.  Its pretty easy to find a copy of that concert on Ebay...if you're a Guns fan, I consider it an essential.

As much as I hate to admit it, and as much as I no longer believe in Axl's ability to produce any worthwhile new material, You referred to the incident where Slash visited him...yes, I still follow the GnR non-doings on the Internet...he remains a curiosity, an enigma, and an object of my idolization, hatred, and disgust, all rolled into one.  I mostly visit heretodaygonetohell.com and metalsludge.tv for all my Axl news.  Do you remember when he was a no-show at the sold-out Philly concert with the revamped Guns a few years back?  What a fucking character that Mr. Rose is.  How I hate and love that sonofabitch at the same time.

I hope Velvet Revolver put out a better album the second time around.  I've always loved Scott Weiland...the first three STP albums are the shit.  I'd like for Chinese Democracy to see the light of day sometime soon...but like I said, I've heard some of the leaks and demos...and I wasn't impressed at all.  I expect Chi Dem to be a disappointment, but I hope Mr. Axl proves me wrong.

So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised. --Hebrews 10:35-36, NIV.
