I started this project over 2 years ago, but it got too hard to work on, too triggering, so I abandoned it for quite a while. But, being offline the last few months gave me time to to spare (a whole lot of it), so I started to work in it again. It's almost finished, just a few extra details to take care of, then rendering at hi-res and am going to get it printed out at either A3 or A2 size, framed, and hung on my loungeroom wall. What does everyone think? For the full size image, clickhereThe final hi-res image will be about 3 times larger.... my poor little computer is going to choke rendering it

Nice work! What are you working in? It's got a really soft real lighting effect going for it and I LOVE the quality of the textures. Nice modeling too. Ahh, subject matter----> Properly Creepy. V.Good

Was rendered in 3dsmax5 with Vray. Used a few light bounces to create the softer and more realistic lighting. But one thing that may add to the creepy feeling that you might not have noticed...... the reflections, the lighting, the highlights and shadows..... they don't match, all inconsistent.... and very deliberately..... just a subtle message..... "xianity doesn't reflect reality"

So I had to render it in many pieces with differnt settings and then composite them all together in photoshop.

glad you liked it
