Oh my goodness, I made it to the seventh level!!!! What does that say about me?!?!?!?! Here is the seventh level:
Seventh Level of Hell
Guarded by the Minotaur, who snarls in fury, and encircled within the river Phlegethon, filled with boiling blood, is the Seventh Level of Hell. The violent, the assasins, the tyrants, and the war-mongers lament their pitiless mischiefs in the river, while centaurs armed with bows and arrows shoot those who try to escape their punishment. The stench here is overpowering. This level is also home to the wood of the suicides- stunted and gnarled trees with twisting branches and poisoned fruit. At the time of final judgement, their bodies will hang from their branches. In those branches the Harpies, foul birdlike creatures with human faces, make their nests. Beyond the wood is scorching sand where those who committed violence against God and nature are showered with flakes of fire that rain down against their naked bodies. Blasphemers and sodomites writhe in pain, their tongues more loosed to lamentation, and out of their eyes gushes forth their woe. Usurers, who followed neither nature nor art, also share company in the Seventh Level

When I clicked on the link my computer froze. I suppose that hell has frozen over.

Now that little test begs the question . . . Is it possible to answer all those questions in such a "virtuous way" as to not reach any level of hell????? Does it mean no matter how virtuous we are, that we are all destined for some level of hell, merely a push button on the elevator away from everyone else at different levels????

MC - I don't think you can. I've tried several times and there are definitely some "damned if you do and damned if you don't" questions. Such as the one about Nostrodamus. You answer "yes" and you're a pagan because you believe in Nostrodamus. But it also asks if you believe anyone can tell the future,so a no vote denies the prophecies.
Plus, "some people deserve to die" cuts two ways if you take the Bible literally. Same thing with giving money to poor people. Or choosing between sex and food. Or the war questions. The whole point is the contradictions in the Bible, and in Dante's theology. Dante has been considered the world's first fascist.
