Through sunshine, then rain, through joy and through sorrow, I ever go on. I am strong, and I can make it through this life, ever learning, ever moving, ever growing in heart, ever gaining wisdom, for I have the will to live. I have the will to go on strongly, not letting the trials of life destroy me, for they are here to make me stronger. I am not their victim for they are my servants by which I learn and grow.My tears are not my defeat.My heart is baptized in them, and my love flows from deep within me. I am cleansed in heart by the divine power of forgiveness. I come forth shining as the sun. I am not afraid.My world is shaken, but within I am steady, for within is my peace and comfort. I am not afraid.Life, I am determined to love you; I am determined to find some joy in you, if only a little. Therefore, through my love I have become empowered. I am not afraid.I see sunny days as well as dark ones. I will delight in the light while it is shining, but when it is dark, I will make my own.

Some frustration and anger has been building up over the last couple of days....That can happen really fast if you aren't careful. The phrase about the baptism in tears played through my head a couple of days ago, and today I was just copying some writings by hand into a book when I got the feeling, so I went to a blank page and the words came out almost by themselves....I wasn't particularly angry or frustrated at the time I wrote the words, but it did make me feel cleansed and much happier. Keep posting your stuff, if you're so inclined. I honestly don't think too much about my deconversion, but I find it helpful to read thinks from those who do. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I thought about your question and realized you probably were asking for a more detailed answer. I'm sure the recent emotions helped me write that, but I've also had some very difficult experiences in my life that have taught me to be strong and love myself, even if others are turned against you and can't show their love.
