The Heart of Christianity: Rediscovering a Life of Faithby marcus borgi never thought i would be reading a book about christianity, but it turns out there is alot of stuff in the religion that i want to incorporate into my life instead of throwing the baby out with the bath water, which i probably HAD to do at first to "cleanse my system".My therapist told me about this book and i love it so far. it's written for people who are turned off by the kinf of christianity they were raised with but would like to find a way to incorporate christianity into their lives in a different way.itdescribes a not brand-new "emerging paradigm" of christianity that is inclusive, based on compassion and social justice, and makes room for all the people of the world and all of the worlds religions. marcus borg is a scholar and theologian.
